ALL VOCALS AND INSTRUMENTS PERFORMED LIVE

Say That You Love Me
-by Fleetwood Mack
-performed live by the Asento Brothers

This fast moving rock classic usually got people running to the dance floor. I'm playing both the acoustic guitar and distorted electric guitar parts on one of my (and Stevie Wonder's) favorite keyboards of all time... a Clavinova, with real quitar strings. Performing this popular dance song was always a blast for Mike and me. It was always a toss-up as to who was having more fun... the dancers or the band.

My Way
-by Paul Anka
-performed live by the Asento Brothers

Without a doubt, one of Mike's most requested songs and one of the first we performed, first with just piano and voice, and later with a full orchestral multi-keyboard arrangement. The love and support we received from our many Italian relatives was a huge part of our success in clubs and lounges around Rochester with more than a few trips around the country to support the Asento Brothers.

I Wish
-by Stevie Wonder
-performed live by the Asento Brothers

A favorite song of mine because of the jazzy groove and fast moving walking bass line. This is a long version with lots of funky rhythm guitar, Hammond organ and distorted electric guitar leads (compliments of an Arp synthesizer and my right hand). And check out the tight harmonies in the bridge and, remember... Mike and I are performing this song live during one of our regular club appearances.

Always On My Mind
-by Willy Nelson
-performed live by the Asento Brothers

One of our most requested songs... a sure bet in clubs in the midwest to get the romantics out on the dance floor. Years of listening to Mom's extensive collection of Country Western legends shows in Mike's vocal interpretation supported by an easy quartet of bass, drums, piano and strings.

What You Gonna Do When She Says Goodbye
-by Pablo Cruise
-performed live by the Asento Brothers

Another of my favorite songs because we were able to come pretty close to the original song's groove and always got a great response from the dancers, with just two guys performing live. I especially enjoyed playing the distorted electric guitar leads on the Arp Solist keyboard.

During 2013, I had the opportunity to collaborate on some songs for a new album by D’Poitt and D$moke.
It was an awesome musical experience contributing my arranging and sequencing studio skills.
D’Poitt is a talented and original writer, producer, arranger and performer.
